It's that time of year when thoughts turn to pumpkins. Not only are pumpkins great for fall decor and making that prized jack-o-lantern, but they are tasty and nutritious, too - and that includes the seeds.
If you are anything like I am, and I'm betting you are, you may have tried your hand at roasting your own pumpkin seeds only to be left thinking something is missing. The trick, it seems, is all in controlling the oven temperature to dry those pumpkin seeds thoroughly before toasting them up with your favorite seasoning.
The video above walks you through the process of making your own roasted pumpkin seeds (although I think I'd wash them a bit better than in the video).
