Now that the holidays are behind us and old man winter has settled in for what appears to be a lengthy visit, I find myself dreaming of spring and green, growing things. That, of course, means getting my blog and site ready for the arrival of the new gardening season.
I have added a couple of pages on bird feeding for those of you interested in attracting birds to the winter garden. Being a perennial dreamer, I included a page on hummingbirds, too. You can visit them at Choosing Bird Feeders. Choosing Birdseed for Feeders and Hummingbirds.
My goal today is to clean up my mini greenhouse and tend to my indoor plants. I have a couple of petunias that should bloom soon and one struggling morning glory vine that I brought in on a whim to see if it would bloom inside during the winter. It hasn't - but I'm not giving up hope, yet.
Maybe after that I will browse the many seed catalogs that began arriving in October this year and begin making plans for next year's garden.
Until Next Time . . . HAPPY GARDENING!
