I don't know about you, but tomatoes are one of my favorite garden vegetables - second only to cucumbers. These delightful veggies come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors that brighten the garden and please the palate. Because they can be grown in containers nearly anyone can grow a tomato plant or two in the backyard, even when space is limited or the soil is unsuitable for gardening. I've even grow my cherry tomatoes in hay bales, but I'll share more about that at another time. This year, I intend to grow several tomato varieties in my garden - but due to limited resources in nearby greenhouses, I will need to start them from seed inside the home. In fact, my 'Sweet Million' and "Sunglow' cherry tomatoes are just popping through the soil. I'm still waiting for my 'Early Girl' and 'chocolate cherry' tomato seeds to arrive, You may also be interested in step-by-step directions for Planting Tomatoes Inside. Until Next Time . . . HAPPY GARDENING!
